If you could only have one AG doll . . .

. . which one would you choose? Is it even possible to choose? Have you ever wondered if it might have been more fun if you had stopped after one doll and just concentrated on getting everything for her?

I have often wondered this. My house would sure be neater and my bank account would be bigger. Possibly I would have have more fun if I only had one doll.

I did start with just one, but unfortunatley when I had to leave her for long periods I thought she looked lonely. I thought she needed a friend. And so I took my first step down that slippery slope. Of course I told my husband that I am not responsible. I can't help it if my first doll keeps attracting more and more friends. LOL

Now that I have many dolls to choose from, I don't know if I could choose just one. If I had to, it would probably be that very first doll named Mary. She is an AGT with red hair and brown eyes. Of course there is my wonderful lost and found Samantha. I also adore my Kit, Kirsten, Addy, and Molly. Of course I can't forget my dear Amy, Anya, and Lindsey. Choosing just one would be VERY hard.

I only have two, of my own, and it would be very hard for me to pick between the two of them!

DD I think would have a hard time choosing between Kit and Kailey.

I had just one doll for many years. Then I found online doll groups and ebay. I bought my second doll from ebay so I had two dolls for the next couple years. Finances were tight so even buying clothes for them was out of the quesion. Then my husband was out of work for 6 months and I was very ill. We started selling everything that we could. Luckily he got a new job before my dolls had to go. I think I would have started selling blood before I let them go. LOL

Last year my husband got an even better job. I was confined to bed a lot and read books until my eyes popped. Then my dear husband gave me a laptop computer. Ahhh, access to online groups, ebay, and American Girl!

In the last year, I have purchased dolls, clothes, and even some furniture. I know I am a bit obsessed, but it is my only hobby at the moment. I have a new doctor now and the hope of getting around better one day. I will then find other things to do and places to go. Of course I will be taking my dolls along. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Molly, Molly, Molly!

I have two AG dolls, Molly and Josefina. While I love them both, Molly has always been my favorite. She was the doll that I dreamed about as a child and I was thrilled to finally find under the Christmas tree as a young adult.

Also, I am more of a complete collection AG fan as opposed to a multiple-doll fan, so that also makes this question easier for me. I have all of Molly's things, am almost finished collecting Josefina's things, and then will start all over again with Kirsten sometime this year.

Mine will be either Samantha or Kit. Samantha has been in my heart since childhood, while Kit entered it last year. And it is all Kit's fault who started the collection by wanting more sisters! lol! [img]wink.gif[/img]

I have 3 dolls now but will have 4 after my birthday and I am concentratign on getting Samantha and Nellies entire collection. So technically I amonly gettign 1 dolls entire collection.

If I HAD to pick just one I guess it would be Felicity. I love her hair and eye color. I like the Colonial time period and her clothes & furniture. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
